Brooklyn's restaurant week

Co asked if I had any recommendations for Brooklyn's restaurant week. Because we have so many wonderful options in Park Slope I rarely leave the neighborhood to eat out. So lucky Co also lives in the hood. Here are some of the participating restaurants that I recommend.

applewood (American, emphasis on artisanal and local)
501 11th Street 718.768.2044

Blue Ribbon Sushi
278 5th Avenue 840.0408

Bogota Latin Bistro (also known as "our family restaurant")
141 5th Avenue 230.3805

Cocotte Restaurant (French, romantic)
337 5th Avenue 832.6848

Palo Santo (new, Pan Latin)
652 Union (between 4th & 5th) 636.6311

I also like

Belleville (French bistro)
330 5th Avenue 832.9777

Beso (Latin)
210 5th Avenue 783.4902

Long Tan (Thai)
194 5th Avenue 622.8444

Maria's Mexican Bistro
669 Union Street 638.2344

Stone Park Cafe (American)
324 5th Avenue 369.0082

I hear these are also great

Blue Ribbon (next to Blue Ribbon Sushi)

North of New Orleans (aka NoNo Kitchen, Louisiana)
293 7th Avenue 369.8348

Happy eating!
