How can something so wrong taste so right?

Pot roast. In August. It just sounded good. I used a chuck roast and squashed it into a small dish with half an onion, some garlic cloves, red wine, and chicken stock. Then I topped it with rosemary sprigs and red bell pepper strips before covering with a lid and slow roasting at 250 degrees for the afternoon.

We also had that Trader Joe's mixed couscous, chick peas, grain this, grain that, goat hoof mix. So tasty!

Oh...pot roast. Sounds good. I'm glad you liked that pilaf. I think I'm going to make that for dinner tonight.
