Wrap your scallops in bacon

We didn't cook a lot while in Colorado, but for one memorable meal my sister grilled scallops in bacon. You still have to be careful not to overcook them, but the bacon does a wonderful job of keeping the scallops moist. Not to guild the lily or anything, but I've been thinking of a sauce that would go well, something sweet with balsamic vinegar and minced ginger? What do you think?

These are very popular here and are available in the fresh meat/fish section of the shop and come pre-wrapped in bacon and on skewers for grilling. They are a popular BBQ item. They are yummy.
